After sleeping not that long I managed to do some car case stuff and having a nice breakfast with Marcelo and his brother Alexandro. Their place is original and full of Chile and south american icons including heaps of Che Guevara pictures. This afternoon/evening we went to a latino tribute festival for Haiti with Salsa, Samba, Mambo and Jazz live bands in Adelaide. The brazilian band brought also carneval costumed dancers. Great night and still young we went to eat someting and watched the movie Baraka at home.
Yesterday was really a successful day, which made us planning the first week on south island a bit different. We are going to the Ben Harper and Pearl Jam fucking concert in Christchurch.
This movie is just amazing, we watched it at the east cape, where this movie was made. The main figure is a local girl and was nominated for the oscar. The movie shows a lot about maori culture and todays live. It is a beautiful piece of New Zealand, thank you guys.
